Nothing to do.

It's a very strange feeling, having "nothing to do," after all the weeks upon weeks of constant sewing and crafty madness, and getting ready for the holidays. There's nothing immediate on my list. My baby is with his grandparents; there is no one tugging on my pant leg to be fed, picked up, or fed...again! My mom has been here for 4 days so the house is clean, the dishes are washed, and all the laundry is done. I suppose if I looked hard enough I could FIND something to do, and really, I wouldn't have to look far at all, but I may just take these next few evenings to do a whole lot of nothing at all! Sure the christmas tree is still up, and sure the tractor is still broken. Sure there are dust bunnies in all the corners, and all the windows are filthy. And there still is that damned wedding quilt, and there's 2 more weddings on the horizon, but seriously...is anybody going to be hurt, die, or be otherwise put in some sort of moral peril if I sit on my arse for a few nights in a row??? I don't THINK SO!!

Nope, nothing bad will happen if you do nothing...(as long as you don't stop blogging!) So glad you get this time. Just a wee bit jealous!

I hear ya'. There's plenty to do, but none of it needs done right this second. It's disconcerting at first, then it becomes a guilty pleasure. Too bad there's nothing on TV right now to make it even more productive!
