This weekend was filled with some serious porch hanging. It's tough to convince myself to come and hang out in the dark basement and type when I could be drinking Guinness in the SUNSHINE!! Oh yeah baby, that's right, SUNSHINE! It's here, it's beautiful, and I think it just may stay. Sunshine means frisbee with the dog, laundry on the line, dinners on the porch, o-my-GAWD I love the spring!
So there has been lots of visiting the past few days - Steve's friend Joe on Thursday, Kendra for the whole weekend, Mom and Oma yesterday, and we had a nice visit with the neighbours today:

Isn't living in the country wonderful! These horses hardly ever come to visit, but I think this is a true case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence. Griffin wasn't quite sure what to think of the very large things, and Dudley actually had a nice little moment of horse to dog nose to nose, which is better than the usual ape-shit charge at the fence and maniac barking, scaring the horses away to the far side of the field. We're all maturing a little bit!
Griffin is having a hoot with this whole spring thing, today he tried his hand at Dudley's favourite trick - eating grass. I had him outside trying to take pictures of him to send off to the modeling agency, but I couldn't get him to look at me for all the bananas in the world. There was just too much else to see...and eat!

Great photos of Griffin and his proud mama. I really dig the overalls.
You might want to rethink the photo of all three of you in the sidebar, though. I just realised I can see right up Steve's nose! :-)
