Sucked.
Griffin told me at 11am that he wanted his bed. "You want to go to bed for a nap?" I asked.
"Uh huh" he says, with a nod of the head.
Steve looks at me, smiles. My inside voice yells "hallelujah!" I have a smug smile on my face. We toddle upstairs.
At 12:15 I decided I was tired of laying on the floor and watching Griffin remove every stuffed animal from his shelves and place them in his bed. And then put them all back. Repeat with the books. And so on.
We came downstairs. Milk, crackers, Street.
We went back up about a 1/2 hour later to try again. He finally fell asleep (about 10 minutes ago...45 minutes later) snuggled up in my arms as we cuddled...on the floor!!
Gosh darnit!! And I was feeling so damn smug!!
That'll teach me.

Hey, but you escaped and he was in his room. I think that still warrants a bit of smug.
Oh how I wish my kids still napped. :) Lovely!
Wow. Sounds like you have a huge undertaking, but keep up the good work and I'll keep an eye on it so I can learn from you since it is almost time for me to do the same thing.
Jonathan and Griffin look to be about the same age. Jonathan will be 18 months on Wednesday.
Isn't it fun?
