Happiness is: Day 10

Well, here we are. Day 10 of nothing but happy! How y'all feeling? Ready to barf from happiness yet? TOO BAD! We've got 20 more days to go.

No worries, when all this happy stuff is over, I'm going to tell you about my new, potty mouth, loud talking, red necked neighbours. I'm going to tell share my Observations of a Commuter. There's plenty of less-than-stellar moments happening around here, don't you worry. But for 20 more days, you're stuck with happy!

So here's something I've been wanting to do for a while:

We house full of Virgos here, we are planners. We are write it down on a list, make a fancy 4 coloured calender, plan it to the last detail kind of people. So, writing down goals (or dentist appointments, or dreams) seems to really work for us. We are goal oriented people, and we like to have it charted out in front of us.

To this end, you'll now see over there in the left side bar (scrolling a bit downnnnn...) a new little list. It's my "Bucket List." 101 things to do, before I kick that proverbial bucket. (Good thing it's the "proverbial" one, and not the blue one that I've been tripping over for the past few days.) Except it's only the first 40. Weak, I know but DUDES! It's harder than you think, trust me!

So feel free to take a scroll. Peruse. Comment. Judge. Whatever. And you should check out the Mighty Maggie, my original inspiration. Funny, I haven't read her Mighty List in a very LONG time, but we seem to have a lot in common!

Happiness is...having goals. Making dreams come true.

Happy Saturday!

"Happiness is having goals."

Hoe did you know that is what I needed to hear tonight?

Perfect quote!

I like that some of your goals are very achievable in the next year or two. It would be depressing if they were all long term. You've inspired me, I think that I'll start my own when I have a moment!

Hi there. My friend Lara sent me over here to check out your blog, and so far, I like what I see. :)
And, as I see that you make quilts (and really cute stuffed elephants, too) I will add you to my blogroll "blog about/be artists and artisans". So there!

Me too...need to make a new list. Years ago, shortly after Isaac and I were married, we made a list like this. It wasn't nearly as long as yours, but... A couple years ago I found that list and was delighted to see how many of those things we had achieved! Time for a new list...YES...thanks for the inspiration!
