Visitors!

We had a very special visit today from some dear East Coasterly friends.

My dear friend Alexis and I have shared two pregnancies. Her boy Timothy and our Griffin are only a month apart. This time around, we had a phone conversation sometime in March, both bemoaning the fact that we weren't pregnant yet. In April we called each other with the news that we were BOTH pregnant....this time our babies were due 8 days apart...they arrived within 2 days of each other, and today we all got to meet for the first time!

Not sure who was egging who on more here:
Corben and Annika have a snuggle on Annika's (new, made by me!) quilt!
And here, just for shits and giggles, is Timothy and Griffin, at the very same age, in November of 2006...no doubting that those 2 above are related to these two here! Everyone piles in for a snuggle!
And here, a little close up of the quilt and it's perfectly perfect squares! This is a supercool technique that I found at Sew Mama Sew, involving a bit of interfacing, and it GUARANTEES you perfectly perfect squares...it's awesome!
We're so glad we got to (drink too much wine with you when you arrived last night and) spend such a lovely day with you guys!!
