Steve and I are four hours in to an entire five days off. FIVE! In a ROW!!! How awesome is that?
What's even more awesome is that we've had to take this time off from GETTING PAID, to do some things around the house, because our various jobs make it so that we won't really SEE each other all summer.
Amazing, right?
So, while its hardly going to be a vacation, we're sure drinking like it is, and we're going to try and make the best of it...in between working our asses off in the sweltering hot sun.
Our to do list is eighteen miles long. It ranges from painting the verandah to planting trees to doing copious amounts of laundry, grocery shopping and soap room reno-ing, and dump run-ing. Throw in some friday night company-ing and some nephew birthday partying for good measure.
Wish us luck! And stay tuned...there should be plenty of pictures to be had!
I have a feeling its going to be one of those "I need a vacation to recover from my vacation" vacations.
