Company
My Mom and Dad are on their way here for a few days to stay. This is good! For a number of reasons actually! It means that Dad is feeling better enough to do a little bit of travelling, which is very exciting. It means that I'll have some company while Steve is off drinking (er, I mean working) in The Thousand Islands. It means that we'll soon have a slipcover for the loveseat in the living room. And last but not least it means that the house is clean! That's the great thing about having company all the time - it means the house stays clean!

I always wondered when his last trip was and thought it was Labour day. It was just a little more than 3 weeks later that he was no longer with us. I always think about the immense strength he had to keep going
