Griffin has been sleeping rather poorly lately. He used to wake up around 4:30 or 5am, at which point we'd schlep him into our bed and we'd all slumber away for a few more hours. Well, 4:30 went to 3:30, then 2:30, 1:30...all the way up to 11:30. PM. That's like spending the entire night in our bed!
However, I do believe I have an explanation. When G turned 1 year old, he had a grand total of 6 teeth in his mouth. Or thereabouts. Now, a mere 11 weeks later, he has THIRTEEN. That's 7 teeth in 11 weeks - one of those occasions where math pretty much sucks.
A recent inspection in his mouth (which requires hanging him upside down and tickling him) revealed no more teeth waiting in the wings. I mean, I know there are more in there, but if they could all just CHILL for a while, we could all have a chance to catch up on some sleep. That would be really, really lovely.

That's just not right. If teeth are going to insist on making an appearance, they should save all gum-mashing for daylight hours and they certainly shouldn't all do it at the same time.
My point EXACTLY!!!
