Kiss My Ass, Snow!

Do you know what it's doing outside right now? Snowing. And not only a light little dusting of flaky white, it's a fricking BLIZZARD out there! I just finished plowing the driveway, Steve plowed it once today at 4pm, and I couldn't drive the car up the driveway at 6pm, that's how much of the stupid white shit is falling from the stupid sky. We cut rehearsal short today, and I grumbled and swore while I heaved 3 inches of heavy, wet snow off my car about moving to Costa Rica and starting a theatre company there instead of in this god forsaken place. On my white-knuckled drive home today, at 50 kms an hour (I usually do 100 km/hr or so) I saw one big assed truck lying completely on it's side surrounded by cop cars, and another one completely in the ditch (with a big assed tow truck trying to pull it out.) The roads are closed all around here. The car that Steve drove not hours ago, looks like it's been sitting there all winter.

So much for the signs of spring.

Seriously, is it over yet???

Cycling home this afternoon the first snow to fall felt like little razor blades blasting into my eyes. The wind was so powerful that I could barely keep the bike moving. I thought some grumbly thoughts, like yours.

I'm so exhausted of this winter! ENOUGH!

I share your pain! The roads weren't closed when I passed by, but they should have been...

No way.

We have the cold, but not the snow.

We are supposed to get freezing rain and sleet on Friday.

I am so sick of this crap I could vomit! Vomit! Arrrgh!

It has me in a serious depression too..just really down about it all and wanting desperately for at least a little warm weather -- not too warm mind you because then I'll have to complain about that too. :-)

Moonie! I finally figured this out! I'm excited to be in on the prize now since i regularly read about your adventures. As for the snow, I'm tolerating it knowing I'm going to be on a beach in 3 days in playa del carmen! sigh, life is rough!

At least today was nicer. The sunshine takes the edge off.

It finally stopped snowing in Ohio and now it is raining. So we had a bit of a flooding issue going on. Our front yard has several pond like puddles forming. This winter has been so long and I cannot wait for it to end! Thanks for the comments on my blog. Sometimes I write and I think no one is reading it! Although I cannot blame them with all of my whining and pregnancy drama. The pictures of your son below are cute- I think he looks like an exact replica of your husband.
