National Down Syndrome Awareness Week

I encourage you to check out the Canadian Down Syndrome Awareness Society website, and see how you can help. Our dear friends over at Baby Makes will be participating in the Ottawa Buddy Walk this weekend.

"The Buddy Walk was created by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) in the U.S. Over the last thirteen years, the Buddy Walk has become the premier advocacy event for Down syndrome and has become a major platform for inclusion in communities across North America. In recent years, hundreds of thousands have walked throughout the world for Down syndrome, raising more than $4 million each year for local and national programs. The goal is to spread the Buddy Walk message of embracing diversity in communities across the country."
