I wuv you

"Mommy?"

"Yes Griffin?"

"I wuv you!"

The other night, after a long day, I picked Griffin up from daycare and brought him home. This little exchange happened no less than a dozen times between the time we got home and bedtime. Totally unprovoked, it's almost like he knew I needed a pick-me-up.

Sometimes motherhood is tough. Other times it's just about the best thing on earth!

I have been wanting to hear this for so long! :-( when I ask JG to say it he says "No!" *sigh* Someday.

Jenn?

I lubba oo!

I know it's not the same at the G-man saying it...but I mean it just as truly.

both my boys are generous in their verbal reminders of how they love their mom. It's the fuel that keeps my engines running! Phelan tells me in the middle of the night!

I think kids have a sixth sense that we need a pick-me-up.

So very sweet. They seem to know just when they need it, don't they? :)

(And I just love your etsy hats. I bookmarked them for my kids next birthdays!!)
