The Chinese have a tradition of celebrating a baby's 100th day of life. I did a bit of research on this, and it turns out that the roots of this tradition actually stem from the sad history of Chinese childbirth, where infant mortality rates were so high that babies often didn't live past 3 months. However, the 100 days celebration is more about what is to come for baby.
And hell, any excuse for a party around here!
So what did I do to celebrate Corben's 100th day? Well, I busted out the bestest, most classic and revered trick in a 3 month old baby's book.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Jolly Jumper:
Happy 100th day, Corben! We're so lucky to have you in our lives!

I'm amazed how a babe who can sleep so peacefully in a sling carried by momma can look so mature 'standing' in the jolly jumper and beaming an angelic smile.
