Who ARE you?

So you all know who I am, right? Laundry Maiden, Pickle Queen, Master of Over-sharing.

But according to my stat counter thingamajig, there's about 100 of you who subscribe to this blog. There's another 50 or so who stop by on a daily basis.

So, my question is, who are YOU?

I could list about 20 of you who I think stop by regularly, either people I know in real life, or bloggy friends that I've gotten to know over the past few years. But the rest of you?? I'm curious to know who you are, how you got here, and why you keep coming back. Is it the pickles? My cute kids? My endless wit? No, really, I want you to tell me!

So if you're stopping by today to read this, please take a moment to say hello. If you're reading in a reader, click on over to say hi. Tell me a little something about you, share a little piece of yourself if you will. I do this blog thing mostly for me and my family, but comments are what we bloggers live for - bloggy currency, if you will.

So if it's only this once, please take a second, say hi. I promise you, you'll make my day!

hey there! this is kate from oakland, ca. i found you through 5 for 10 with momalom and enjoyed you so much there that i have become a fan...i love your photos and your natural, fresh-air approach to being a mom. so thanks for doing what you do. i should mention that i am suffering from pickle envy as the one time i have tried to make pickles i messed up so bad...and we can jar upon jar of soft and squishy (but smelling good!) pickles. maybe i will try again some day.

Hello! I'm Tawny. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and I found this blog through the Follow Me I'm Canadian blog (I think?)

It intrigued me because it's similar to my blog in that it's mostly for family from afar to keep up with my family. We have similar life adventures (minus the pickles of course!)

Good lord, I just tried to figure out how long I've been reading here . . . Can it really be three years now?!

I may not comment nearly as often as I would like (and used to) but I have truly enjoyed this little slice of life and watching your family grow. The boys are just adorable :-)

And seriously, I've been inspired to can something this year!

You count me as one of the 20 right?

I come back because it's the closest I can get to sitting on your porch with a beer and chatting the night away ;)

Hi there! I've been reading your blog for almost three years now, from Vancouver, BC. I was told about it by a friend whose a friend of a friend of yours (don't know the sames involved). I LOVE your blog. Your wit is wonderful, as is your honesty. I was starting on my own path to parenthood when I first started reading and now have an 11 month old daughter. I read your blog daily - it's the first in my list of favourites. Keep up the good work!

How clever! I just found you through Twitter. And I don't know you yet. But me? I'm a mom of three. Partner to one. Writer. Editor. And, yes, laundry-doer, too. (Thanks for the nod to leave the towels on the line.) I write a blog with my sister, and we often wonder who those non-commenters are, too. Great idea! I hope you find out lots about your readers!

i came across your blog through a friend of a friend as well and loved it. your posts are wonderfully funny, honest, playful and a definite highlight after a long day at work away from my own little one. I'm also in awe of some of your creative projects. Corben and Griffin are lucky kids to have such a creative mum!

Hi! It's Ginger. I am on vacation at a beautiful resort. It is nap time and I am catching up on my blog reading. You know, I don't remember how I found you. But I am glad that I did. And one day, when I actually make it to Canada to show my boys your wonderful country I am gonna say Hey! And we will all say it with our Texas accents!

It's me, Marianne :) I didn't know that you had a blog (or lost track of it) until we all talked about it at Mr. T's retirement. Love it! I guess it's the closest I can get to talking to you a few times a week (at least listening to you). it's almost like writing letters back and forth in highschool again... a little more one sided... and a little more grown up than what we used to write about. Love ya! M

Hi!

I'm Andrea from Ottawa. Once upon a time I found you on some kind of Canadian blog listing. I'm also a mom who leans towards green. I've always loved your photos and design. And of course the witty banter. :)

I am terrible at leaving comments! Otherwise I wouldn't be able to cram in as much blog reading as I do. :)

Hello! I'm Patricia from Port Moody, BC. I heard about your blog from a friend. I love your wit and your beautiful portraits of daily life. Our children are around the same age and I share a lot of the same questions that you write about. Thanks for all the work!

Hiya! I'm Wendy (aka mapsgirl). I found you through twitter because we're both going to Blissdom in October.

I like your blog because you're a mom like me and you write about everyday stuff. :) The pickles and the cute kids are a definite plus.

Hi, I came over here when "The Sigh of a Summer Breeze" was featured in a BlogHer sidebar on someone else's blog. The title intrigued me so I clicked. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I live in Maryland, with my partner and two kids, ages 9 & 4.

I'm Tiffany and I live in Germany...but I'm originally from Texas. :)

I honestly have no clue when I added you to my google reader but it probably occurred via the blogher links in the ads I used to have on the side of my blog.

We share similar interests and lifestyles so I kept up with you, even when I didn't have anything to say or time to respond to your posts.
