Oh, hai.

Oh hello, poor neglected blog.

Things are insane around here.

For starters, I have no daycare this week. My two (bonus) days of semi-peace are not happening this week.

Secondly - the little one? When we left for the cottage, he was scootching all over the living room. Now, now he's CRAWLING, all over the living room, dining room, kitchen, and anywhere else he can find his way too. He eats EVERYTHING he gets his hands on.

Needless to say, he is keeping me busy! (He is also keeping the floors clean, which is more than I can say for the rest of us.)

Thirdly, I have two quilts on the go with looming deadlines. One is a silent auction. One is a baby. (Yeah, yeah Pauly, and yours too.)

I am churning out soap for a little sumthin' sumthin' happening soon. More to follow.

My baby turns four this weekend.

My baby starts SCHOOL next week. (Hold me.)

I had to drive to Missisauga today to buy him a new car seat, because he seems to have shot up about 2 feet and gained about 20 lbs. (Ok, not really, but you know what I mean.)

Steve's birthday is the weekend after Griffin's. Mine is the week after. My Oma's is the day after Steve's, we'll be traveling to London for that one.

We're having a family photo taken on the 11th, Steve and I are desperately trying to shed some more pounds in time for that.

I am ankle deep in tomatoes from the garden that need to be turned into salsa, and I am knee deep in cucumbers that I have no idea what to do with any more. I can't possibly eat another cucumber.

People keep wearing clothes around here, so I have to keep doing laundry. I'd consider becoming a nudist, if it wasn't so effing cold here in the winter.

So yeah, busy.

Just like the rest of you, I'm guessing.

So pardon my neglectfulness. Soon it'll be fall and then it'll be winter, and I'll have nothing left to do but thrill you daily with my musings.

I know, you can't wait, right?

Whee!

(Look at my soap...isn't it beeee-utiful?)

You made soap?!? How much $$ do I send you for the clean stuff? ;)

And I know what you mean about kids starting school. I've been sad for three weeks, realizing that they're growing up WAY too fast.

Good luck with preschool.

My daughter is about to start her third year (and last) of preschool and is impatient to get back. Truth be told I'm impatient, too. My older child started 4th grade yesterday and it's a long day to fill up without him to keep her company.
