He is ALL about dinosaurs and dragons. Anything he can get his hands on. Shows, games, stickers, figures, lunch boxes, placements, Halloween costumes, you name it, it's got a dinosaur or dragon theme in this house.
He can correctly identify about 30 different species of dinosaurs. Tell you if they're carnivores, herbivores or omnivores. Tell you "how many kids tall they are." This kid knows his dinosaurs.
He also enjoys being a dinosaur. He spends most of the day pretending to be an Oviraptor, Ornithomimus, or his favourite, an Ankylosaurus. He loves to roar at people, preferring it often to talking.
Or apparently, smiling.
Which is how we ended up with a JK school photo that looks like this:
