Warning to Stage Management Types (You know who you are)

This post contains graphic photos of Office Supplies and may induce the reader to:
A) Pee their pants with excitement (especially if they're pregnant, since they're likely peeing their pants all the time anyway.)
B) High-tail it to the nearest office supply store.
C) Pee their pants while high tailing it for the nearest office supply store.

I had an epiphany the other day when I realized that my new career would necessitate the purchase of some coloured pens, and that said new career was going to involve copious amounts of office supplies, just as my previous (beloved) career did. So off I toddled to Staples, and look what I found:

Aren't they the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?

And to top it off, the snazzy plastic carrying case does this:Here's what it looks like when you are deciding what glorious colour you're going to pick to write with this time (it's a hard choice!):

And finally, a sexy little close up on the rainbow of pen glory:

Maybe y'all have these pens already, and if you do, WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME ABOUT THEM??

If you don't have them, you should go get them. Go now. Or call your man, get him to pick you some up for you. You know you want them. You know you do. You deserve them!

Go.

Go now.

And remember, you can take the Girl out of Stage Management, but you can't take the Stage Manager out of the girl!

Yeah, okay. But. You can't write on a laptop screen with those pens, can you? They don't port into NeoOffice or TextEdit or anything, do they? Are they hot-swappable? If it's less than 512Mb of colour, it's sort of not worth it...

You're such a geek!! (and that's not an insult...look who I married)

Call me old fashioned if you will, but holding an actual (not to mention sexy) pen in my hand still gives me a little thrill. The keyboard just doesn't do that for me.

Hah! We've had these in the office for a full year, to colour coordinate who should be doing what job on the big calendar. Strangely, it doesn't make anyone do the work, but it does make them happier!
