So inspired by Miss Kate’s Nursery Makeover, and frustrated with the chaos that is my sewing room, I decided to do a little makeover of my own. Before and after pictures to follow, as soon as there is an after to speak of. Right now it’s still a work in progress.
A trip to Ikea yesterday, and I came home last night and worked diligently for about 4 hours moving and organizing and putting stuff up and taking stuff down and so on, while Steve worked diligently in the next room saving the world from certain doom (aliens, specifically) on the Xbox.
I brought Steve into the room when I had finished for the night to show him the fruits of my labour and my progress thus far. He stood in the doorway, looked around and said:
“So what have you done so far?”
Wrong answer, oh husband of mine. Very Wrong Answer!!

Your bitchn about socks. Try wearing two pairs of socks, two pairs of pants, a tee shirt, a plad shirt, a sweater, heavy overalls, a heavy coat, heavy rubber steeltoe boots, a hard hat with a heavy liner for 8 hours a day for 5 days a week for 4 months of the year.
Socks.
