C-c-c-COLD!

Holy smokes it's COLD outside. The ol' mercury is dropping to minus TWENTY FOUR tonight (that's about minus 10 degrees farenheit for all you south of the border folk.) Oh, and factor in the windchill, we're looking at about minus 28. Sweet Mary! It's these days where I pat us on the back for being smart and buying a NEW house - not one of those kinds of houses where the pipes freeze if you even mention winter.

I know, I know, talking about the weather again. Me=lame. I just don't have the brain power for anything else.

If you're living somewhere warm, I want to hear about it in the comments. Tell me all the wonderful things you're doing with your warm selves. Maybe make note of your address too...if this crap keeps up, you may find me on your doorstep!

It has been wonderfully warm here in Dallas, Texas. Until a cold front blew through last night. It was only 7 degrees Celsius (I converted just for you!) today which is much colder than it has been, but warmer than you are having. And Thursday is supposed to be worse with all of that cold arctic air blowing into town. But we have been enjoying our mild winter taking lots of walks with the boys and generally being outside as much as possible! Stay warm!!!

Weather Report from Sydney Australia

38 degree's with 80% percent humidity. Going home to have a BBQ and read a book in the warm night air. The only problem is when you want to go to sleep you need to have all the fans on full blast with the windows all open and maybe even a cold shower before hand. Tomorrow looks like 40 degree with 100% humidity with maybe a chance of a shower (hot rain).

I will swap with you.

Pah. You know where I live. I'm coming to you because your house is newer than mine, I think, and therefore warmer. Plus with 3 out of 4 of us walking consistently, we could run around the livingroom and make a warm tornado or something...

A balmy 36deg here in North Texas. We've been below freezing a few times this year, but still haven't kicked on the heaters. Gas fireplaces rock!

Stay warm, you Polar People!

Well, it's not warm here but it is warmer than where you are. Welcome to Atlanta where the high today is going to be a balmy 45F.

Go ahead. Say it. "Pussy." I can take it. Promise. :)

I hear ya Jenn!
Yard duty was it;s own special kind of hell today. We were at -24 and that's one degree away from keeping the kids indoors all day.

When I gather the strength I'm gonna chip the ice off the hot tub cover and dive right in! I bet it's costing me a fortune to run today!

Popped out onto the front porch last night to drop a bag of organic waste into the green bin...reached for the handle of the screen door to let myself back in and my hand froze to it. Damn! I hate it when that happens!
