One Last Hurrah!

Today we decided to have one last hootenanny before it's back to the grind tomorrow. It's been a glorious 2 weeks (save the puke-fest) with holiday celebrations galore, and I kind of wish I didn't have to go back tomorrow. More, more, me want more!

We all donned our best winter gear, and headed off to a nearby hill, for a bit of "flying." (While getting ready Steve told Griffin we were going to "fly down the hill" at which point he decided he was a "Super Heerio" (rhymes with cheerio...too cute!) and grabbed the nearest cape (blanket) and started running around like the super heerio he is! It was almost adorable enough to let him keep at it, but we were 1/2 dressed and too far in to quit!)

First up, Daddy and the G. I had thought they'd start at the little knoll about 1/2 way up, but in typical Steve fashion, they went straight for the gusto and headed for the top!

It was a little bit of a struggle to get Griffin on the sled, but once he went down that first time, there was no stopping him!
Mama's turn!

Daddy gets all intrepid (and gives me a bit of a heart attack in the process) and hits the jumps.
A classic finish!
Griffin got tired quick, and we got tired even quicker once he decided he was done walking up the hill and needed to be carried. Afterwards: a much needed hot chocolate break. Despite the copious fresh air and exercise, this one little cup full of sugary goodness was enough to send our afternoon nap straight to the shitter. Bouncing off the walls was the order of business this afternoon, poo on napping!
Check out the 'stache!
Aren't my boys beautiful!?!
Yay for Christmas Holidays 2008!

Looks like it was fun! I can't wait until we get some warmer weather so we can take out our sled for the first time.

These photos are great! Looks like you guys had a total blast. We need a little more snow before we can do that. Maybe the next storm around? I'm back to work tomorrow too...though I was not off that much really....tomorrow is the first full week in two weeks.

Ugh!
