Happiness: Day 5

Well peeps, we did it. We got the house!

(Wahoo!)

Now all we have to do is sell this one. Anybody want to buy a house?
We had a great day today - after a FULL nights sleep last night for all of us (I didn't even wake up to pee...it's some kind of miracle!) we all felt like new people this morning. We cleaned and cut grass and made this house ready to go on the market, and after a long but incredibly productive day, we're exhausted, but ready. It looks FANTASTIC in here!!

I even found a few minutes this afternoon to go out and pull some goodies out of the garden. Harvesting food grown by ones own hands has got to be one of the most satisfying things there is in life. (Well, in my life anyway.)Griffin is doing much better, I think he gets quite the sense of security from the hard shell protecting his arm. He was a bit fragile today still, I think overtired combined with frustration of not being able to use his left hand, but we made it through. When he's cranky, he's REALLY cranky, but when he's cute? He's oh so incredibly heart-melting, and you forget about all the yelling and screaming that happened earlier!
This week is going to be a busy week. Not only is there home inspections and banking and all that jazz to deal with, but Steve is out of town most of the week, and I have a wickedly busy week at work. But my biggest problem? What the hell is my kid going to WEAR all week? None of his clothes fit over that silly cast!

Ah well, an excellent excuse to go digging in the "clothes that are too big pile" and see what we can find. Otherwise, a trip to Value Village it is!

Hope your Sunday was as wonderful as ours!
